AA Tri Club  Buddy Program

The mission of this program is to connect Ann Arbor Triathlon Club members who are looking for guidance on triathlon topics or club activities with more experienced club members.  Think of it as having a big brother or big sister to look to for advice and tips.

The Buddy relationships will ultimately be defined by the individuals involved and can focus around common topics such as the following:

  • Utilizing club resources and programs

  • Becoming more involved in the club

  • Training for a first Triathlon Race

  • Making the jump from Olympic distance to Half- or Full-Triathlons

Please note, this is not a coaching program, we recommend Michael Parker of Parker Performance for that level of expertise.

There are no limitations or restrictions around which club members can sign up for the program; we all have something to teach and provide one another.

We will need members who are willing to help advise and guide other members to make this program work. The below survey is to help pair those together.

BUDDY PROGRAM SURVEY

IMPORTANT - Please Note the Following:

  • The club will do its best to fill all requests. It will be subject to many different factors that are not within the club's control.

  • It is advantageous if all parties approach this as a professional relationship.
